Gifted products: it’s a tricky subject. They’re [sometimes] random things you haven’t heard about/don’t trust yet, and more importantly: someone was required to promote it. Trust issues, anyone? I get it: I’m skeptical too sometimes because of that. I’d like to preface this post too: it is in NO WAY sponsored by any of the brands mentioned here. I was encouraged to share about them on Instagram stories once, and nothing more. These are hand-picked products across hundreds I’ve been sent this year that I felt deserved their own post due to performance.

We all know and love cult brands. Additionally, it’s easy to just gravitate to our own “tried and true” skincare options while shopping. Recently, I’ve been incredibly surprised by the quality of products coming from new and under the radar brands. This past year, I’ve focused on various long-form testing methods of products that were sent to me to see how they really performed in comparison to my faves.
